Stephenson started out in 1969 as a two-person firm operating out of a small house on Isabella Street in Toronto. From the beginning, John Stephenson and Graham Eaton committed to creating an engineering firm of exceptional quality.

John Stephenson, P. Eng.

Prior to passing away in August 2020, John was an important member of the Toronto Professional Engineering community for almost 50 years. His contributions to the construction industry can be seen throughout the city. A few of the many landmark properties designed by John include The Shipp Centre, Consilium Place, and The Sheppard Centre. As a member of the PEO since 1965 and a Designated.

Structural Consultant since 1974, John was also provided expert witness services for clients, Professional Engineers of Ontario, and the Ontario Association of Architects.

Graham Eaton

Graham Eaton joined John Stephenson Consultants shortly after its inception and worked closely with John to build the firm into a staple of the Toronto Structural Engineering industry. As a partner with the firm, Graham was responsible for a significant number of Toronto-area projects including Thornhill Square Shopping Centre, North York Corporate Centre, Karmax Heavy Stamping Plant and many schools and fire stations across the GTA.
